Fender Player II Series Jazz Bass Neck, 9.5", Modern C
Fender Player II Series Jazz Bass® Neck, 20 Medium Jumbo Frets, 9.5", Modern Cs
Manufacturers Part No: 099-0480-921
The story of Fender's modular design began in 1946, and guitarists have been writing their own chapters ever since. Our pioneering bolt-on neck construction wasn't just about making guitars easier to service—it was about giving players the power to shape their sound. Today, every genuine Fender replacement neck carries that legacy forward, offering endless possibilities for customization, restoration, and reinvention.
Crafted at our Ensenada, Mexico, manufacturing facility, the Fender Player II Series Jazz Bass® guitar neck is designed for supremely comfortable performance, with a silky-smooth satin urethane back finish and our Modern “C” profile that’s ideal for almost any playing style. The 9.5”-radius fingerboard and medium jumbo frets provides fast fretting and easy playability, while the hand-rolled fingerboard edges provide a slightly broken-in feeling that’s incredibly inviting.
The nut is pre-slotted with "pilot" string location grooves to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing. For true Fender authenticity, it's also serialized and laser engraved with our “Genuine Fender Parts” logo on the heel.
This replacement neck is for a Fender or Squier® by Fender guitar.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ NOTICE BELOW CAREFULLY:
All necks should be carefully inspected prior to installation and/or modification as the neck is rendered non-returnable once altered. All wood is considered unique with individual growth patterns. Some necks may have minor grain variations due to the organic nature of wood. These are not seconds or "blems". Please contact customer service if you have any questions or concerns about your neck when it arrives. We cannot guarantee exact neck pocket fit due to varying manufacturer tolerances, wood shrinkage or expansion over time etc. Some neck pocket modification may be required.
We recommend that if you are not familiar with the proper steps to replace a guitar or bass neck that you should contact a professional for assistance.
