Tone Ninja Locking tuners are a great upgrade for any electric where you want to maintain a Vintage appearance, but want locking tuners and a drop-in upgrade or replacement.
We designed these to have the same pressed steel appearance as many vintage instruments, with period correct metal buttons. The addition of the thumbwheel locking mechanism that most guitarists prefer is neat and unobtrusive.
Installation: Tone Ninja Locking SD91 tuners will fit most 6 Inline guitars that use a 7-screw mount (aka F-Mount) and have Vintage (8.8mm) headstock holes (most vintage and vintage reissue Fender style instruments). These tuners are a drop-in upgrade and use press-in bushings.
